Student H1N1 Vaccination Clinic – Monday, November 23 we will be offering all Millard North students the opportunity to get your H1N1 flu shot between 8:15-8:45 as long as you complete the required consent form and bring it to school with you. If you are unable to make it before school on Monday and would still like to receive the immunization, we will be calling students down to the auditorium beginning with the 9th grade at 8:45, 10th grade at 9:05, 11th grade at 9:25, and 12th grade at 9:45. These times may vary. Students will have the option of the nasal mist or the traditional shot. Please make sure you bring the signed consent form which is available for downloading on the Millard North home page if you want to receive the vaccination.
After school next Monday, Millard North will be hosting an H1N1 clinic for the community. Therefore, it will be very important that we get our campus cleared by 3:45 that afternoon. The east senior parking lot will be closed during the school day on Monday, so that we can reserve parking for the community clinic on Monday afternoon. Also, there will be no Study Center offered that day, and students who typically wait outside for rides will need to have arranged for an early pick up as I shared with students yesterday. Omaha Police officers will be on hand to help direct traffic. All students will be directed to leave campus by 3:45 next Monday, so please be sure that you have made the necessary arrangements to get picked up. Other after school activities that day will be strictly limited as we prepare for the community clinic in our Mustang Center. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this important community health issue.
Also, Monday, November 23, 8th hour classes are cancelled- no 8th hour classes Monday.
This includes Mrs. Denney Bull’s, Mrs. Elliott’s and Ms. Carroll’s classes.
