40 DEVELOPMENTAL ASSETS CLUB :

This student driven club will focus on developing, promoting and providing the 40 Developmental Assets which are the strengths or building blocks that teens need to grow up healthy, competent and caring. We will do this through fun hands-on activities, service learning projects, team building, etc.

Developmental assets are concrete, common sense, positive experiences and qualities essential to raising young successful people. These assets have the power during the critical developmental years to influence choices that young people make. This student group has two main goals. Their first goal is to educate the student body on what Developmental Assets are and second, they will focus on assets that seem to be lacking or weak in the student body and attempt to rectify these weaknesses.

Ambassadors are Millard North Mustangs interested in making our school a great place to be by working to create a caring, supportive school environment by becoming an individual mentor to students new to Millard Public Schools. All new 10-12th graders are paired with an ambassador who escorts them to classes for two days, shows them the ropes of the cafeteria, and helps new students connect with club/sports/activity sponsors to improve their constructive use of time. Ambassadors help answer questions or direct their mentee to school personnel who can.

If you are interested, please e-mail one of the sponsors. You will be invited to help out at the our two biggest events of the year are the Freshman Pizza Party and New Student Breakfast which take place at the start of the school year.
